Where fun and freedom are earned through balance and discipline
Dogs thrive on routine, and stability. Becoming a pack member gives them the stability of knowing their place and building trust with handlers and other dogs. To keep our pack stable your dog will join walks on the same day (or days) each week.

Providing your dog with mental stimulation through physical challenges and new learning opportunities is crucial for their overall wellbeing, as important as regular physical exercise. Our structured pack walks and day care programs are designed to offer your dog both physical and mental stimulation, ensuring they have a well-rounded experience that promotes their health and happiness. Through our programs, your dog can engage in activities that challenge them both physically and mentally, such as obstacle courses, learning new commands, and increasing duration in holds while ignoring distractions, which can enhance their cognitive abilities and help prevent boredom and destructive behaviors. Whether your dog is joining us for Structured Adventure Pack walks, Socialisation Daycare or Structured Urban Walks, every session contains training elements such as:
- Thresholds – waiting to be invited in an out of doors and gates and vehicles
- Sit-stay and down-stay – our pack need to be able to hold these positions with distractions such as other dogs and people, and moving objects such as sticks, balls and vehicles
- Loose leash walking – following behind the handler without pulling
- Off leash follows – following behind the handler off leash and staying together as a pack
- Recall – coming back to their handler away from distraction
Prior to joining any of our packs each dog must complete an induction program to ensure they can be safely integrated into the pack and enjoy off-leash time. See below for details.
Walks offered
Farm Training Day – A full day for recent graduates of our induction training program, which allows us to introduce new dogs to the pack and farm environment, controlling interactions with other dogs and stock (chickens, goats, pigs and sheep), and build on the skills learnt during the induction program.
Structured Socialisation Daycare – 4 hours of freedom on private farmland to socialise, play, climb, build confidence, and learn new skills. We actively manage the pack to ensure there is no bullying or rude behaviour.
Structured Adventure Pack Walk (Urban) – a mix of on and off-leash walking at a variety of Central Auckland parks and beaches. These walks are 1-2 hours depending on pack and location.
Structured Adventure Pack Walk (Forest) – 3 hour off-leash forest walks for dogs who are fully integrated into the pack and have bullet-proof recall, exploring a variety of forestry tracks, streams and water holes.

New Recruits Induction Course
This course builds trust and focus and teaches your dog what is expected of them as a pack member.
We want your dog to have the freedom to explore and play, while maintaining a calm and balanced state of mind, however safety is paramount on our walks – for your dog(s), for our handlers, and for other animals and members of the public we might meet along the way – so before your dog can participate in off-leash fun, they will learn to disengage from distractions and focus on their handler, and to interact respectfully with other dogs.
To achieve this, each dog will undergo an initial assessment and an induction program to ensure we have our three fundamentals – impeccable leash walking, bulletproof recall, and responsiveness to verbal makers – which we teach, along with handler engagement, waiting at thresholds (doors and gates), and holding sit or down / stays.
Initial assessment / consult $90
Depending on the dog, 4 to 6 induction sessions will be required at $90 per session. Depending on the dog further training sessions may be required.
Enrolment Term – 3 months
Dogs thrive on routine, and stability. Becoming a pack member gives them the stability of knowing their place and building trust with handlers and other dogs. To keep our pack stable your dog will join walks on the same day (or days) each week.
It takes a lot of work (for us and your dog) to bring them into the pack so we want to put this energy into dogs who will become long term pack members. The enrolment term is a minimum of 24 walks (minimum of 2 per week for three months) excluding training walks and assessments. Should you cancel within the first three months the remaining amount for this period will be charged.
Regular
This is a set weekly booking for your dog on a selected day or days of the week. This space is reserved for your dog as we have a limited number of spaces available each day. For this reason, with regular walk or daycare bookings you will be charged for the space whether your dog is in attendance or not. See cancellation policy and exceptions below.
Casual Walks
Casual walks are available to existing clients, so once your dog has been through the induction program, you are welcome to add days as required, subject to a space being available.
Cancellation Policy
As spaces are limited, the spot that is reserved for your dog will be invoiced whether your dog attends or not. A 100% cancellation fee will be charged if less than seven days’ notice is given.
During school terms we allow one free cancellation every two months.
During school holidays and public holidays, we understand a lot of owners take their dogs away with them or keep them at home, so cancellations are permitted with 7 days notice.
